PT200
« on: March 23, 2016, 11:54:53 AM »
just a teaser    but its coming soon.  much better design, no more glues or double adhesive tapes, etc... the adhesives have a short life, they deteriorate due to moisture and age. So the new PT200 has none of that, its all put together with mechanical elements and sealed with long life silicone o-ring.  not only lasts longer but it improves the sound and makes it more consistent.  i'd give it 3 months or so to be available in the market.

The PT200 uses an M6 threads vs. M7 that is used for PT100 and PT110, smaller hole on the barrel and you can find M6 taps mush easier and cheaper than M7.

Congratulations Bass!
You are fantastic!
I want to use it too!
Will it be able to be adapted to our previous inserts in barrels that fit the earlier versions? And

unfortunately no JP, it won't fit into the PT100 nut, the reason is PT100 is an M7 thread and is hard to find a tap for it, so went to M6 a most common size.  also you end up drilling a smaller hole on the barrel.
