Hi All,
I've been floating around GTC for a little bit but this is my first post.  I've picked up my clarinet again  after 15 years after realising that I LOVE Turkish music... and I used to play the clarinet... So why not join the two? I've been learning middle eastern clarinet from an Iraqi teacher for about a year now, unfortunately he has moved and I've caught the bug ;).  I'm still VERY rusty but I'm picking it back up slowly.

I would like to continue and have been practicing on my own for a little bit but I really need some direction.  I was wondering if anyone could recommend some online lessons that I could do.

Thanks
Jodie

Welcome to GTC Jodie.   Where do you live?  Maybe someone here can recommend a teacher near you.

Thanks for the welcome Bass!

I'm currently living in Brisbane, Australia.  I've been looking  for a teacher here and have some pretty good middle eastern music contacts... but no clarinet teachers.  I was extremely lucky to find one in Perth!

Great, thanks Solo.  I'm hoping they speak English... unfortunately I don't speak or read Greek.  I'm assuming that I can use the email contact box down the bottom to speak to them?  Exciting.

Hey, Jodi, one of our members, Isos, lives in Qld. She may know some people who can assist. Although, she hasn't been active on here for some years. But then you never know.
