Taksim Trio - Gozum & Kulagim
« on: August 07, 2017, 02:33:01 AM »
Very impressive live performance by Taksim Trio. Two songs, Gozum (means "my eyes" in Turkish) and Kulagim (means "my ears"). Both composed by Husnu. Qanun intro and harmony of clarinet, qanun and saz is really good. I enjoyed a lot, hope you do the same.

what a great intro by Dogan, my favorite Qanun player.  these three are perfect together.

Hi Yiannis. Barrel is Akıneri's fat barrel (http://www.akineri.com/) . I don't know what ligature is that but it looks pretty much like Vandoren leather ligature once I used to have.

Hi Yiannis,

I am not sure how to describe the difference with words but sound becomes warmer and stronger with my Backun brand fat barrel. I use it from time to time depends on my mood.
